1. Pest Control

Pests such as mites and aphids can be eliminated with cloves. It is simple to make and very effective to use! 

1. First, add two tablespoons of cloves in one-liter water. 
2. Heat the water and cloves until the solution starts to boil. 
3. Once done, turn off the heat and allow the combination to cool down perfectly. 
4. After that using any sieve or muslin cloth, filter the clove water into a spray bottle. 
5. Spray this solution on infected plants in the evening.

2. Repel Ants

5. Repel Mosquitoes

Cloves can work as a natural mosquito repellent as well. According to a test report published in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, undiluted clove oil was tested with other essential oils and it gave 100% repellency against all the three mosquito species that were tried for 2-4 hours. 

Clove essential oil, however, cannot be applied undiluted due to the possibility of causing rashes or irritation on the skin. The best way is to apply it to the skin and see what reaction it produces or use it diluted.
