Recipe for Kids - Ham and Egg Cones
Recipe - Cooking with kids not only involves watching them cook, but also being part of the family as they clean, play with toys and prepare dinner. It's a great way to break the tension between kids and adults, teaching children self-control and respect while also giving adults a respite from busy days at work.
It is important to remember that cooking is not about commands or rules. It is a game of conversations and shared interests. If you put the right things in place, you can teach your kids how to cook (and maybe mix up some delicious recipes).

Cooking is a delightful venture for kids. I think it's a wonderful opportunity to get to know kids better. Kids don't often get the chance to be creative or go off and do something on their own. Cooking allows them to get side-by-side with adults and to show us what they're capable of.
The whole family laughs and has fun together. This wouldn't be true if it wasn't for cooking. So, why not get started with cooking with kids today? You'll be happy you did.
